Welcome to Grindrod Waterfront  Bed & Breakfast and the home of  Okanagan Llama Lounge
Hello and thank you for visiting our site, Grindrod Waterfront Bed and Breakfast is located on three parklike acres on the peaceful banks of the Shuswap River.
We are a family friendly and pet friendly accommodation, bring the kids and the family dog.  The sandy mini beach on the river bank is a perfect place to build sandcastles or perhaps stretch out on the lounge chairs for a siesta in the warm summer sun.
Our guests are encouraged to take the canoe for a paddle, life jackets supplied. Or perhaps you may wish to go for a river float from the Grindrod Bridge to our backyard, tubes supplied.
Perhaps your tired from your travels and would prefer to put your feet up in the hammock under the trees, or lounge in the screened in cabana by the beach. For dinners you may wish to paddle to the Grindrod Riverfront Pub which is a 20 minute upstream paddle, or perhaps spark up the barbeque on your deck by the hot-tub a cook up some steaks.
When permits allow you may wish to sit by the fire pit at the river and roast some marshmellows and stare up a beautiful starry night sky.
Lets not forget the in-deck hot-tub with a perfect view of the river for your private use.
Or  you'll just want to lounge on the deck watch the river and contemplate the behavior of our Llamas and yes you can touch them and no they won't spit on you!
